Event Overview:

Organized by Singapore International Children’s Media (SICM) and supported by multiple co-organizers, this international youth art competition involves over 100 institutions and 200 artists from 40+ countries.

SIMCC and Scholastic Trust Singapore Foundation co-organize to include IJAO in the STEAM AHEAD Global Finals.

STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), has grown rapidly since STEM was introduced in 2001 to focus on these high-growth industries.

Integrating STEM into education has gained traction to support technological innovation globally.

* Open to Bronze and above winners for SIAT 2024.

Upload Artwork
Students will upload their artwork directly through the SIMCC Member Development portal.

IJAO Results announcement: November 15th 2024.
Invitation to Asia Pacific Art Exhibition: November 16th to 24th 2024
Asia Pacific Art Exhibition: 10th to 16th January 2025

If students are attending the Asia Pacific Art Exhibition and participating in STEAM AHEAD 2024, they must bring their artwork to Istanbul.

However, if a student is not attending STEAM AHEAD 2024 but still wishes to participate in the Asia Pacific Art Exhibition, they can hand over their artwork to PGA, who will bring it on their behalf (An additional fee of $2680, on top of the IJAO registration fees, is required).​
- Participants are required to send the original work to the designat- ed address within the stipulated time frame.
- Artworks should not be framed.
- Participants are responsible for covering postage cost.
- Detailed instructions regarding delivery time and address will be announced later together with the price.
- Participants must send the original work to the designated address within the specified time.
- All the artworks will be return during SIMOC 2025
